It was hard work on Whitley last night...I managed a couple of size codlings in the last 20 minutes of my comp, but with that wind & rain blowing hard in the face all evening there were rods blowing over and reels blowing up all around me! I didn't see one decent fish, lots of small & undersize (and I had a big eel!) but my buddy next to me at least managed five sizers.

The weather was kinder last night, calm and warm when I used up some spare lug. The sea had died off but the fish were still there. In a couple of hours I took fish from the north skeer until it dried up, then one more from south Wilkies. All the fish were small, around a pound with many more missed bites and little or no weed.
