who am I

with such a big turnover in members of NESA a few of the newer members do not know who I am (I am ready for the comments) when I ask for details of their catches, a few have been quite rude. I am the mackerel eating, white haired sea angling columnist for the Journal and Sunday Sun, so if you want your catch reports in the papers and maybe a photo treat me with kindness as I get upset easilly.

hi alan ....if i do catch anything , anything at all i will announce it and i promise not to be rude, i will also if u want give u my extensive mackerel recipes....which imho are pretty awesome ....

White haired and heavily tanned...although the skin colour may have something to do with fish oils and not necessarily the hours of dog walking, we haven't worked that out yet :p

available for hire at most ad-hoc competition weigh-ins as well I've found...:D

Nice one mate I am a newer member myself and will be sure to post up my reports and pics if (BIG IF) I catch, I would of posted my sized coley from last Friday on the tyne but phones battery ran out, and I didn't have my camera. Any way I am Pete and as the user name describes I live in Shields but to be more informative it's the South side. :)

Are you that old bloke who is aged around the 100 mark, but due to a healthy diet of fish oils you only look 56 :D

thought the comments might be the other way around, but as you put it so nicely, yes that is me, however wrinkles are starting to appear and I am getting the shakes, desperate for a fix of fresh mackerel.
