yeah thinking there too now, wonder if anywhere will be fishable according to surf reports...

Just driven by & it'll be way too big for the beach tonight - get yourself on the pier though (if you can tough out the wind & hail!) and I'd say there's a good chance of something good.

Gary :)

REally want to get out but other people in line with yourself are saying same thing. NOT looked yet but fancied the north end to be more sheltered. oh well back to the drawing board...maybe the harbour

Blyth

Blyth

Gonna try the north end if its too big then maybe the pier... beats sitting in wondering what if ...

im gonna be out wednessday and thursday night hoping to get a couple of long sessions in just hope it pays off got a couple marks in mind:D:D

Swells are coming from the SE, so top end of the beach will be unfishable, but if the pier's bouncing on it's foundations there's a good chance of a lunker if you can tough out the forecast wind & hail! (Take a big windbreak:exclam:)

Gary :)

Just been for a run down the coast and i think its wey 2 big 2 fish the nite i would keep your bait for wedensday when the sea drops off it will fish its t**s off

decided to stay in with couple bottles of ale and think about going out tomorrow instead....save the bait until it settles a little - if its coming in from the SE that rules out north longsands for sure

The thing is, trying to bring up anything from the north facing side of the pier in weather like this is so hard, even a smaller fish gets bounced around in the white water...

waste of time!!!

waste of time!!!

been out....waste of time.lol
Tried Cambois off the back of the wall.....got out the car to have a look.... just as a massive wave decided to come over the wall so i got soaked!!lol.....tried the little beach next to the fish quay but it was no good there either. So tried further up the tyne at Newburn but caught nothing apart from a load of line and 1 5oz weight!!

First time fishing in 4 months........Still love it...ha ha ha ha
