Just came across this thread and I have never read the comment that was made by Rocketman that got him banned, so I cant say much about it, but plenty people on this site have made jokes or made a remark in jest about nationalities.
You just have to look through the Barmaids Boosom to see it all, as I have done on more than one occacion,espcially one joke by a certain Keith B which ended in the words " that German B******d".
The words Glass houses and Stones come to mind.

As you say you haven't seen the comment posted, if you had you would of seen it was in totally different context to the the joke (posted 6 years ago) you mention.

All I am saying is we all capable of making mistakes and sometimes it is a good thing to talk to a person before taking such a rash action as banning someone from the site.
As for me being a Moderater on here, you lads are doing a fine job as it is.
