My god ,the wife has the X Factor on in the background here ,my question is simply this ....why do men watch it ???????????????????????

they are hiding from me tonight on account of being a bit grumpy having watched me dewalt & bosch power tools sink to the bottom of the marina this afternoon - router, jigsaw, 2 cordless drills, loads of router bits, drill bits and other stuff I haven't yet realised

anyone want to buy a boat?? seriously! anyone want to buy a boat?

I thought there was a bit of extra lounging about room in the wheelhouse today. Why did you throw them overboard  Was it something I didn't do :(

I'm keeping away from the sarcastic remarks here ,I can see you've lost some expensive kit .

Mind you I'm sure you could buy replacements in a pub up the road for very little money.

bear in mind St Peter's is in Walker.

went down today and someone has nicked all the water:

brill I thought, chance of recovering some tools. now bear in mind St Peter's is in Walker....

some git had beat me to it! Perfect impressions in the mud of a where a bosch cordless etc had lain, all the good gear was nowhere to be seen, the cheap stuff was still there though, managed to recover a cheap tenon saw, a chisel, jigsaw and an argos cordless drill

Had thought over the weekend of making an anonymous call to the police, saying I'd seen someone throwing a couple of handguns in and then hang about for the police divers to turn up and casually mention they find see some tools down there!

Mark, if it's any help I've got a small circular saw you can borrow (cheap thing from B&Q), I'll just need some warning to find the bugger as the house is a tip at the minute! Got a cheapy jigsaw that's not much cop but again you can borrow that if it'll help. i'm sure the guys on here must have any amount of gear that you can borrow and hoy in the Tyne..... :D

As for that carp on telly, thankfully our lot are sensible and no-one watches any of that rubbish.... or the soaps either....

Ta muchly for the offer, much appreciated. I'm ok for saws, was just me cordless drills that was gutting. Still got a couple of cheapies though.

dried the black and decker jigsaw out and it still works unbelievably
