Will this wind lift the sea

or will it being predominantly westerly be a waste of time ? Thinking about a trip out tomorrow night when the worst of it subsides.

I am completely sold that the western wind is not moving the sea AND not helping with cod ... had a complete blank the other day
At least it was quite warm for this period of the year!

Is the river Tyne any better with these conditions?
I was planning to search for a spot in North Shields in the coming days.
