It's been mainly south westerly to westerly winds all winter when we've wanted easterlies/northerlies for the shore cod season.
Now the boat season is just about to start to kick in and we get the opposite, typical

Might be a good thing. End March is usually dead fishing because of spawning and algae bloom.

The easterlies bring swell, which stirrs up all the mud on the wrecks.

The winter was too calm, I reckon their is a black-brown carpet of mud on the seabed.
