as silly as it may sound ask around for anybody that fits 2nd hand windscreens we use to do them at a fraction of the cost that autowindscreens use to charge

on a sidenote im sure your insurance should cover the cost of a glass replacements ,, been a few yr since did this so might have changed

We now have a quote for £144, which is great. Also insurance does cover it with a £60 excess. However Lynn is now worried about next year's premiums!!

Give me strength!!!

Now that Easter is over I had time today to call Lynn's insurance. There is a £60 excess, but they organise a glass company to come out, do the job at your home/work and the no claims bonus is not affected,so not 100's of pounds after all.
I really should know better.........If Lynn says her insurance doesn't cover glass........ I need to check for myself!!

She might be good at catching fish, but she's rubbish at important stuff! :)
