Winter clothing

Trouble with floaties and the like is your limited. If the weather turns your going to struggle when theres a sea running or you need to wade. With a pair of chesties on you can fish anywhere. You can wade and they also keep you dry. Personally would rarely fish the open shore without them. Fair enough on a pier or the river you can get away with boots but if its forecast to pour down my chesties will be on, even on the pier. If I was to pick a go to outfit it would always be the chesties waterproof smock route.
Ive used breathables for the last few years and they offer the best of everything, so so comfortable. The neoprenes only come out in the real depths of winter.

I bet theres a big difference in clothing choice north and south of the tyne!!

Some brilliant responses cheers everyone. I'm just gonna skip the clothing and go for the flask of Bovril with plenty of pepper! All gear now ordered so will give my own feedback on what I got in due course. Thanks again lads!

Don't think there will. I think you'll find anglers who fish from piers, beaches and rock ends like myself, will have different clothing depending on where they're going that night. My chesties are always in the back of my car, just in case of a change of venue.
