I've just heard that 'England' are 'World Champs' after beating 25 other teams in Scotland yesterday.
Out of the five man team taking 'Gold', three were from the North East :
Simon Robinson (Wickham), Davey Parker (Wallsend) and Howard Croston (Hardy/Greys of Alnwick).
France took Silver and Scotland Bronze.
