Tomorrow i shall be chatting to World Super Biker racer and World Super-bike champion 2004 /06 James Toseland.
All for a feature for Bikersweb.
Really for me,getting excited.
Just been re-reading book on him with Steve Parish and Barrys wife. Chatting to JT i was saying how i used to love the Transantlatic racing watching Schantz weaving and sliding on a big sit up and beg Sizuki
Which one,Foggy or the Tose?
All the bike racers I've met and those who I know are absolutely great guys,a few screws loose admittedly but genuine, love life blokes.I used to road ride with a squad and they defy belief on the road.Too nippy for me like
BTW,JT plays the drums aswell, now that tells a tale
Yes, saw them race at Silverstone, British G.P, Kevin Swantz was amazing, the perfect rider, but as a b@lls out rider Randy Mamola took some beating. . Been 5 years since i sold my ZXR900 and talking about bikes is giving me itchy fingers again.
jt was treat badly in motogp and was pushed out to make way for ben spies. Good enough but bike was not. Just finished putting greatest bike battles on to disc off the hard drive.Schwantz at macau on a rg 500 gp bike, won by miles.Wheelied his way round whiile waving at the cameramen.
Yeah Shwantz was one of my favs.
JT was treat badly in Motoo GP and Spies was going to be the new Rossi some thought. He is doing of as a rookie but still got some stuff to learn yet to get there/
But then again i recall when Rossi came into the top class. He slung the bike down the road quite a bit till he found the knack
