worms in the house?

Good competition bait, that's why people put so much effort into acquiring
them.As previously said,when the fish are there,whites are deadly,and i've
had enough experience of this,to know it's true.I fished a pegged match on
Seaham pier years ago,and there were plenty of whiteys about, and a few codling.I had fresh blacks and live crab from Devon, and thought i had a
decent chance of being there or thereabouts at the end.I was wrong,i had
one codling,i think it was'nt much more than a pound, and the bloke on my
left, had eight codling, for around nineteen pound. He walked the comp, and all
he used was snake whites, nothing else.Certainly made me pause for thought.:)

Oh,and i'm pretty sure Stringer and co took the top places in the big comp
last weekend using silvers.:):)

how there free if ya dig them over rated bait anyway chuck them out ya tray or trays and fill them with yellow tails

:D:D Couldnt agree more

Obviously theyll have their day but the way people go on about them youd think they were hoying truffles out.
Quality scratching bait when theres not much about like but id rather have a bucket off blacks every time, all about preference though

more often then not they don't fish that well i have them every year and over the last 10 years may be 7 or 8 times they have out fished yellows and crab

I'd say once in the last 4 years in the opens have i seen it make a difference. It made a big difference that day. However, thats the only time.

Mackeral makes a difference on its day. Normal Ragworm is a very underated bait.

People tipping off with whites think its the whites IMO. Where its more likely to be the blacks or crab etc...

Anyway, they look pretty. So they must work!

never caught anything on them
used to be able to dig loads of them at a place near the groyne about 30 years ago
dont know if you still get them there though
