Worms !

I\'m fishing the open tomorrow so as usual I\'ve got peelers ,mussell ,razorfish ,sandeels etc etc and of course I ordered my lug and rag on Monday to pick up today...sorted eh.
I was at work for 6.30 this morning constantly watching the wind farm to see the wind direction ,thinking where to go tomorrow etc , so I called into Frasers on my way home and picked up my worms ,I watched the youngun sorting them and they looked excellent ...OH I though I\'ll get some runnydown while I\'m here ,went home and put the bait away while getting it in the ear about going shopping ,so off we went got home and while putting the gear away I noticed the runnydown in the fridge ( funny I thought that should be in the freezer ) ...guess where I\'d put £15 worth of worms yes in the bloody freezer ,I did have a faint hope in my heart that they might be OK unfortunately they will be OK for groundbait or a worm cocktail ice pop. :casstet: :casstet:

That was 4.30 ,I rang Frasers and was amazed to hear they still had bait left....I\'m £15 down and don\'t care about that , just wondering what the neighbours are thinking after my little tizzy when I opened the bags of worms . :P

steve how about this one.been away digging for whites 3 tides, had no room in my normal fridges so i switched the spare on,went down got some nice clean water put the little beauties in 6 trays, sorted.got up the next day for work went in the fridge to make sure said beauties were ok only to find the thermostat had gone ti** up i ended up with 6 trays of white worm popcicles.and yes i did smash the fu**** fridge to bits.

i done the same with some crab once, went to bed with about 50 crab in perfect condition for a match, got up next day to 50 frozen crab.it was me own fault though i turned the fridge right up as it was a nice day but it froze overnight.

Steve (cod only) hope you kept them frozen. They fish really well when frozen in good condition.
