Sitting here, drained, moving flats, stuff everwhere, loaded with cold Ive had for a month, work and sleep is all i do, cant take time off as Ive a wedding to pay for, snot and plegm all ower, coughing like a 100 a day man, and thought about it, I havent had a single cod this winter. I dont fish every week, in fact I havent fished sinse the NESA comp(and thats not cos I hoyed my gear away in a paddy), anyone else think It hasnt been the codfest we were expecting?

Roll on the summer and Mull of Galloway.

Im off to work now, again.

I thought it was alright until about Christmas/New Year time then it died off and never really recovered,so I would say I\'ve had a mixed season but a poor ending, the conditions are great at the minute but I know it will be a waste of time and money going out

gotta agree with alan, iv\'e also had not much since the end of november. i have had a couple of good fish hooked and lost thoug but all in all few and far between. roll on the warmer months :D .
paul i saw you posing on barn roof sometime during the week with ya shades on. the mill is looking good :D

cheers

good catches sept oct nov, had an awful december dont think i had a sizeable fish then ive had 3 fish for about 6lb since january all in all a totally crap season! roll on september :casstet:

As someone who lives a long way from the coast and can only get at weekends I\'m finding that the general sport is better in summer.

I can usually count on plenty of flatties, coalfish and a bass or two most sessions during the summer, but this winter has been completely hit and miss. Not blanked more than a couple of times but not done too well either despite fishing in some perfect conditions. :(

Only a couple of codling for me ,worst season I\'ve had although I didn\'t get out half as much as I should have due to bloody work ,never mind roll on the Mull !

glad I didn\'t bother! Haven\'t read/heard/seen anything which has encouraged me to sort the winter gear out. still got over 200 crabs in the freezer collected last summer

I\'ve spent most my spare time renovating a house for my daughter this winter and been watching the reports and didn\'t see anything that made me down tools. I hope it picks up for the summer

been the same over cumbria oct/nov was good then the weather turned easterly and the fish disappeared,a good sea would fetch fish back in but there hasnt been any of them hardly.
thought it was gonna be a belter early on then it just got worse.

Mark, one of the lads caught the ghost on fonecam, a VERY distinct shadow moving across the room,In the old mill house, where the pld fella died, ( his nae was actually Casper can you believe) he sent it to me via blutooth, I press play, realplayer comes on, then flashes up\"Unable to play this clip\" wierd thing is, the others he sent me play fine.
