Worth a chuck

Have been watching the sea all week and its never really dropped yet. But the tides are starting to increase so I was able to get down to a rock mark at low water.
It was a nightmare fishing, huge rollers from the south east, hurricane blowing from the north west, had to stand with a hand on the tripod as the wind was tipping it one way then the waves were dragging it the other. Tripod went in the drink but managed to hook it out with the rod.
Fished large dirty squid & crab cocktail. Had a huge rockling ( slug ) first cast then nothing for an hour then big, big slack liner and got my biggest fish this winter, will weigh it when I find my scales.
2 casts later I caught another which felt a good fish but maybe not as big as the first. It was really hard keeping a tight line as the rollers were pushing it in at quite a rate and 10 yards from the ledge it fell off
With the tide making and the wind increasing I couldn't cope any longer where I was so made for home.
No complaints on dropping a fish off as I had a great night for the conditions and can't wait to get back out on Sat night.
