Wrasse on the rocks.

Headed down to the rocks for a couple of hours to use up the rest of yesterdays bait. Got there just after high tide and set up the carp rod with a float in the hope of catching a ballan wrasse for the species hunt. Not long after the float went under and after good fight managed to land my target species.





After a few pics it was returned and swam away to fight another day. Stayed another half an hour then packed up and headed home.

I knew there would be wrasse down there. Been a few times with the lures but nowt.

That wrasse is a belter. I bet you had a cracking fight with it.

I think I might have seen you, i saw someone with a blue box. I was on the ledges a bit further south about 7-9. I didn't get anything, went down a bit too late I think. Excellent wrasse!

Keep at it there's normally a few kicking about down there, it put up a canny fight on the carp rod once it realised it was hooked it went mental haha.

Probably was me always got my box with me haha. Was that you setting up on the top? Left just after 7 the water was getting a bit to shallow where I was.
