Haha good move mark make sure you bring the bottle and contents aswellWe hired a dinghy 3 years ago at Gareloch Head. After a couple of hours it seemed to be letting in water so I started bailing the water out. Then I spotted the bung wasn't in the hole! Must have worked its way out and I probably bailed it over the side! Started engine and headed straight for shore, Lynn at the helm, me on the bailing. Only just made it, shin deep in water. Called the guy we hired it from, as we were about 4 miles by road from him. He said "Go into the Ardentinny Hotel and ask for a few wine corks" and promptly hung up!!
We have never hired a dinghy again!!
So I will bring a few corks when we come down Chris - just in case!![]()
