Fished down on the Groyne, South Shields today, (WED). Was there from 10:00 until 14:00, nothing going at all. Loads of little Knocks but a a think it must of been Crabs nibbling away. Or my Gripper being moved in the Strong Outgoing tide. Around 2oClock a Fella came walking buy, who ended up being one of te most helpful blokes you could meet. As im still petty new to fishing , he told me how to tie shock leader etc. and where to et cheap tackle. He also told me i was wasting my time on Groyne at low water and to try the Walkway, which I did for the last hour, and on first cast Fish on, only a small Codling which you needed a magnifying glass to see. Still a bite!!! I had to be somewhere so left, but Im going back tomorrow to use rest of My Bait...Straight t the Walkway....As for the Fella I met, Cheers Bud and Hope to see you out again...Top Bloke...;););)
