Just got my christmas present today -

It looks so sexy I almost want to sh*g it.

I've just built up the bottle to open it up and hoy the blocks out but I don't think I've got enough to take it out in this harsh weather like. I don't want it to get blown over and maybes scratch the rubber handle or even worse.

I'll just have to put it on the mantle piece.

just watch the frame the welds sometime snap near the bit where it goes in reel seat and also the handle takes a bit of stress and snaps in half so order a spare handle if i was you m8,other than them to things excellent casting reel good luck with your new toy and hope you catch a few fish.

you know what it is mako, that's wierd, I was just looking at how the reel seat was connected to the cage and wondered. It looks like a brazed joint but from the outside only, if you look at it from the inside, there's nowt there.
Don't think I'll have any problems with stress on the handle like.
Might just take the swedish tart to bed afterall

That reel is old school brother, proper old school, cannit beat original abu's, such as the blue and green ones...

Went al gangsta there, must be cause av been reading there bring out GTA San Andreas 2 for PS3... MINT!!

Only got it on the spur of the mo mate while getting some bait, heard they were hard to get now and when I seen it in the display cabinet I just couldn't resist.lol.

Right, I am now ganna put some clothes on this swedish moll so she can accompany me down the pier tomorrow.

I will let you know if she buc*s back, and how she performs overall

Brilliant casting reel, mine is still mint after years of use. Just bought two of them off Ebay a few weeks ago for £60. They had a few marks on them and one needed a new drive shaft as the last few threads had been stripped off. They were absolutely full of grease but with a good clean up the two of them are running perfectly. My son has claimed one of them and he is over the moon with it and I now have a spare. Look after it and and it will give you years of excellent casting and easy fishing.

That's what a meant in me other post buddy, cannit beat original Abu's, as these days true Swedish built ones are hard to come by, as thesedays most reels including abu's are Chinese.

A put me hands up my 7HT Mag is Japanese built but the Japanese seemed to know how to make too quality reels, as do the Swedish and American's (when penn reels where made in the usa).

Just finished putting line on the bitch, It's a small spool, no chance of fishing on with this one if I get caught up or crack off in mid flight. Not to worry though mate, I've also relined my trusty turbo, she has served me very well in the past, in fact I may put them in the same bed tonight and if I hear any lesbo carry on through the night I'll hoy the slosh 30 in to sort it.
