So that was the year of 2010 and my 3rd year as a private boat owner, put some hours in picked up a lot of new tricks and met a few canny lads, may have the odd try out from now until November but I think that will be all folks until April next year.

Will put a collection of my fav pics up of the year later

Richy & Crew of Stingray signing off.

well done Richie,,what a cracking season,,i think a lot of boats have had a good season this year,, lets hope next season doesn"t let us down,,Parrot..

Everyone has done great this year, the catch reports have been flowing this year better than any year since NESA was set up, we can only hope that next year is as good but we all pray its better :)

I would like to add that i would say at a guess myself and Graham have chucked back at least 80% of all cod and ling we caught to fight again so lets hope they make a return next year but a few pound bigger :)

Yes Richy, thats some year you've had :):). 204 hours, you've certainly put the time in and reaped the rewards. Well done.....

thanks

thanks

rich thanks again for letting me be a regular crew member (not as much as i would have liked due to family and work) aye it has been a great year.

you missed the haddock off your tally of species for the year.

heres to the next one.

Ball's your right iw ill add it now and your welcome mate, we ahd the some of the best day's out and some of the hardest this year..remember the wave comming over the back of the boat lol until April 2011 err.

Ha, I can beat you on number of different crew Richie. You win on most of the others though, with some impressive numbers.

We should start a picture thread for some of the best snaps of the season - once it's all over. I'm still holding out for one last successful session this season before throwing in the towel. Still there's a month to go before the end of the salmon season on the river and the beach fishing is picking up now.

well done Ritchie, you've had a fantastic year and fantastic catch....204 hours on the engine and 65 trips out to sea, pleased the boat has been superb with some of them long trips out into the distance, many of us boat owners would not have the bottle to travell out nearly 20 miles straight out to sea.

What makes all them fish extra special is the time in which you caught them...204 hours on the clock, 65 trips which to me means you only had the engine running approx 3.5 hours per trip, would have thought that by the time you leave your berth, get through the lock and to the piers alone would be 40 minutes each way, never mind the steaming to the wrecks and engine idling whilst on the drift, that makes your yearly catch report even more impressive.........well done.

bob

Glad you like them Bob :) loads more to come that you can read next year but that will be about it for this year apart from the odd inshore trip if i can prise Graham away from the carp fishing on them cold days.

Stingray - Stingray

Stingray - Stingray

If I'm off, It will take no persuasion to get me onboard,The days out on Stingray will always come first. The carp fishing is left for those days mother natures decides boats are best left in the Marina.
Its been a brilliant year and have had Lovely Day Out each and every trip (honest). I have to say once again (and will continue to do so) A Very Big Thank You to Richy (Northeast1) for the kind invitations to fish onboard Stingray,Its been a pleasure and long may it continue.Look forward to the 2011 boat season and for Team Stingray to be re-united.
Unfortuneatly I Fish for the pleasure,so therefore my days onboard and catch reports are not recorded and logged. My target of a new PB wasn't achieved but what the hell, there's always next time.So to sum up 2010 BRILLIANT!
Oh! and someones got to be onboard to take the better photo's
If Richy Dosent Post Photo's With Catch Reports I Do Have Some To View In My Albums

absolutely b----y fantastic stuff rich:D:D nesa should have a prize for best boat poster. yourself and norman would probably need to share it:)is there going to be a new"stingray" next year

Cracking report richy in my eyes you set the bar with the boat fishing this year with the amount of days out and reports, if my season had been 20% of the season you had i would be very pleased, but with getting a new boat and the fitting out coupled with babysitting duties i missed the majority of july and almost all of august and as you said this month has been a complete shambles for the boat lads.

Im planning on a lot of uptiding , weather permitting so hopefully it can make up for my fruitless summer.

Normans the top poster, you cant beat them great video's.

I cant wait for your uptide reports, if your doing well you may talk me into given it a bash but other years i have tried...well i tried and failed.

Cracking report Richy, I might post a similar one later this week if the lift drops off! Otherwise it will be a week of shore fishing! I still can't believe just how good the fishing has been this season! I can't wait for next season already!

Graham.

Thanks for a season of interesting reports Richy, I have enjoyed them all. I guess the next best thing to actually getting out there is reading a fresh report with pics. It has become quite a habit logging in to the forum on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon to see if yourself or Norman has posted yet.

Keep up the good work

Jonny:)
