Yesterday at blyth

Went to blyth beach with mate Gerry what a waste of time in that howling gale fished for 3 hours not even a knock as far as I know.Gerry had 2 little flatties not that he knew much about them either.Still we had plenty of fresh air.Better luck next time I hope.

Hard lines fella
Been today and caught 3 good flatties between us and lost something bigger that gave one hell of a knock and seemed on until about halfway in.
Wind was still strong but sat in our little bivvy with a flask of tea cigars and a biccy and the world seemed good.

Try again ... there are fish even through the day over the high ... just unlucky that's all

Bliss having the bivvy but how on earth it stayed up in the wind.
