young'uns first sea fishing trip

Well headed to mill dam with my 3yr old son and 2 bags of rag. Wasnt eventfull in the fish department with only 2 small coley but the joy on my sons face wen I brought them im was imense,dont think ive made a fisherman of him yet as he thinks ya have to pull a fish out every cast lol "thats catchen son not fishing" lovely day had by us both.

Nice one mate, that's where I took my son when we first started out, now he catches and I do the watching lol. It won't be long before you're doing the same ha.

catching a couple of fish is a step in the right direction on his first trip so well done the more fish he sees the quicker he'll be hooked good luck m8

when its a little warmer give him a little rod to dangle down the side of the pier. a small coalie a cast with rag on a size 6 hook will hook him for the rest of his life.

Thats wat I was doing dab catcher but nothing took his bait had a little old spinning rod down the side. I had my kompresser cast as far as I cud cast with 2/0 full of rag and peeler hoping for a canny codling. But insted I got 2 small coley lol the bait on the hook would have lasted the greedy lil so and so's for ages. Only cuple of onnces each lol
