Absolute bobbins :(

Here's my theory (for what it's worth), two fold:

a) we need a proper hooly storm to hit our coastline and render it unfishable for at least a week

b) all the Cod that are being caught seem to be big fat breeders, so are all the littler uns off shore fattening up ready for either a late spring run or Slinky and Shady et al racing out of the blocks ??

Anywho I met fellow NESA member G-Force last night - good to meet you mate :)

zut alores,

zut alores,

at least you had bites mate, :D i,m thinking of just sitting in the centre next time, lets hope we get a better sea next week ha no chance:mad:bet you when its time to get the boat out the weather will be crap:(

Good to meet you too mate, at least you caught something that swims! I managed three varieties of crab (a swimmer, a shore & finally an eater) and only had one more chuck after you left. A truly dire evening, followed by an equally dire days trout fishing - not a single take! Was much weighed in for your comp?

Things'll be looking good for there for the weekend if those big s/easterlies show up. :)

should have left the small fish on for livebait.
the codling i got off the pier last friday night was full of sprats, 2 were probs the size of that wee fish you got!

im hoping the weather brings in some nice fish as well :)
