can anyone tell me what the standard m4 is like and what type of ground its suitable for...thanks

I've had a M4 for the last 4 seasons,very battered now. I mainly fish Marsden and Whitburn from the cliff tops and the low water marks. It is most deffinately not a clean ground rod, it will cast 7oz with a big bait no problems and pull a fish through the kelp as it locks up well. Its my go anywhere rod it can really do everything I need it for in the north east.

I used the evo version in some of the heaviest ground in Northumberland and it was fine. Thats until some **** stole it !
