After recently taking up sea fishing 3 months ago , thought i'd try lynemouth beach with me brother and a mate. Arrived at 6pm and fished up and down a few hours, the sea was well flat but managed a few flounder between us then an hour before leaving me rod went crackers so struck into it and
felt decent and kicked twice before gettin slack line, got that in then another mad dash of kicks and in it came out the surf and snapped me line when landed on the beach, another guy helped identify it and weighed it in at 5lb .05oz.
I have a picture on me phone i would like to upload but cant find me link cable for gettin it onto computer so if anyone wants to pm a mobile number to send to and upload it i'd be most greatfull.

07940355430. Send it across m8. And I'll stick it on got you!
Must say I'm abit jealous! After blankin up there on Fri night! Ha. Well done...

cheers best nest , i 've sent it across. it took a huge bit of mackeral stip with rag, i'd ran out of me other baits (lug, clams, live razor)

haha codseeker i can assure u it wasnt , still cant seem to catch a cod though , managed flounder , whiting , bass so far and now this , but i'll be away up lynemouth again sometime soon as it looks a cracking beach and the other angler i spoke to was a great help, cheers mate.

I thought that myself but what if when your bait is in the water and some seaweed or vegatation gets caught on your hook making it more appealling to the fish

Ray's bream feeding

Ray’s bream feed on an array of crustaceans and fishes – basically whatever they find in abundance, from sprats and herring to crabs and crustaceans.
