Andrew Stanton, of Alnwick somehow missed the whiting on Blyth, taking the heaviest fish of the match, a cod of 6lb 4oz, his only fish.

Is he about 17 if so i seen him the day he caught it at blythe harbour he was walking past and asked if i caught out and i said no m8 just got here and he said oh this morning i caught a 6lb cod of the end of the pier (LOL a thought he was winding me up) i think he\'s in the sea angler magazine aswel

Think Andrew might be quite pleased to be mistaken for a 17 year old, he is a bit older than that, and the fish mentioned in the little piece you posted was caught during the Seaton Sluice Open at night and came from Blyth Beach.
