Apart from the fact i hate both of them and dont find anything they do funny.

odd though, a program that was broadcast 10 days ago, and only got 2 complaints when it first went out, neither of them about the andrew sachs bit, and all of a sudden thousands of complaints.... prompted by a complaint from Andrew Sachs' agent (who'd arranged for Brand to call Sachs in the first place)
and then 'outraged of tunbridge wells' starts complaining because he'd read what was said in the messages via the daily mail, not by having actually heard the original broadcast
just been listening to some of em on radio 4 "I'd read what had happened so then went to listen to the program via iPlayer"

ross married to jane goldman, goldman family, lifelong associates of the sachs family, both business and personally
the complaint from sachs agent (who, apparently, also represents his granddaughter), days after broadcast... was it a complaint about content or a complaint about lack of reaction I wonder?? he was only 'alerted' to the program when the Mail rang him for a comment,
10000 people then decide to complain, most of whom didn't hear the original broadcast

the point is, that days after the event, a media band wagon gets created about something that is utterly unimportant, and from the woodwork appear thousands of outraged 'not-listeners' to complain about something, by their own addmission, they 'heard' by 'reading' about it in the Daily Mail
yet as a nation of individuals we are getting right royaly shafted left right and centre and say nothing, we are a part of the daily massacre world wide of women and children, and say nothing, we stand back and watch the likes of mandelson, back in the job less than a month, doing dodgy deals with russian billionaires, and say nothing
Ross and Brand are only important to Ross and Brand and the little sycophantic band that licks there butts,
pages and pages of coverage in the papers for them and their egos, hardly a mention for the fact that the americans launched a raid into syria for the hell of it, killing more children for no reason than they 'suspected' someone in syria might want to disprupt the supply of 'their' oil

I have not commented on what I think about the incident or the people involved. I have supported a comment on the reaction to it and how it sits with a few other things that need saying and doing by the great british public.

when is say great britain is a nation of losers, I mean the fact the blind acceptance of all things that are generally 'bad'
and the uproar/coverage/hysteria over things that are generally pointless
if the winner of this years big brother however, is seen to be eating a donkey whilst defiling paris hilton (or vice versa) than that of course will be 'bad' and shall demand they be sacked from whatever non-job they have at the time and that they be forced to collect all the red rubber bands that decorate our streets and crochet them into bonnets to keep old ladies warm in the winter
