  • Hi Alan,

We (Amble Coastguard) are running an exercise up at Low Newton on the 2nd October, and were wondering if you would like to come up and do a piece for the Journal on the exercise?

We will be working with Craster ILB, on a number of scenarios, possibly involving several incidents in an angling competition.
It would hopefully give your readers, an insight into what what happens when they dial 999 and request the coastguard, and how we work with other agencies to resolve an incident on the coast.
    cheers mate
keep the reports coming, and images of big fish would be nice, any I get I usually send down to Sea Angler as well

secret, went there years ago and in front of the lead works, popped along straight after work, used to work whitehill point, that was until something from the lead works turned the mud whitish and the crabs went pulpy inside, wonder all anglers don't get some funny diseases the places we go for bait.
