Had a run out with James last night after work to fish the ebb.

Started getting bites early on and I managed 2 small ones within 30 minutes of each other. Tide dropped back further so we decided to walk out onto one of the skeers and cast into the hole we were fishing from the beach which had emptied out a bit close in.

Not much happening and then 30 minutes before we were due to pack up i chucked what was my last bait in the hole and 10 minutes later the ratchet went and had a thumping knock, lifted into it and said to James, this is a good fish.

Came in fighting all the way but not too hard to get in. Landed it for a nice weight of 7lb 10oz, chuffed to bits.

Aye i should have been quicker getting the photos on Alan haha.
