09-11-09 Seaton Sluice

Popped along Sluice last night on the breakwater 5.30pm through to about 8pm, couple of very nice sized flounders, 1 teeny codling, 3 small coalies and one coaley that was about size. All went to rag/lug cocktails.

Sea was rolling quite a bit, was some guys on the actual rocks at rocky island, could barely see them at times between the breakers! Another guy came along to the breakwater just as I was packing up, think he mentioned a comp being on?

Aye, was a nice evening, flounders were a good size. Was a lot of very small rattles, presumably more little coalies. Shame they hadn't made the end of the breakwater bigger, it's a nice spot to fish but very limited on space.

would have been the south beach comp, we had a canny few lads out on sunday night, most of them were fishing around that area ;D
