fished roker today and witnessed a 14 pound cod hooked then gaffed and weighed with digital scales was 14 pound:obelting fish it was well done that man ,plenty other folk there saw it aswell ,;)there was other odd fish around up to 6 pound i saw very few and far between considering how many there ,i just had to make do wi me whiteys i let go :red:,worth going to see that fish ,i also heard hendon prom beach is fishing well tonight at low water ,weird aint it ,thamks guys
 
My mate Phil is at Roker now and he said the guy next to him just got a 14lber, 2 14lbers in a day, Roker is going to be busy tomorrow :D
 
Fished roker lastnight, only ended up with a few whiteys but it was nice to be out and see some fish getting caught.

As for the second 14lber (as mentioned by gaverick) it was actually the same fish as mentioned at the start of the thread so there was only one as far as i know.
 
i also fished roker last night aswell lol some good whiting over a pound and a codling 4lb .few nesa lads on the roundhead too nice to meet you guys :)
 
Nice to meet you Codseeker and Jimbob. Sorry for sneaking on and getting a 5 pounder 1st chuck;)

Definitely only one 14 pounder caught.
