18/08/11 old harrisons ship yard, bill quay

Got down about 16:00 and only took one bag of rag to last a couple hours. I'd never fished here before so when the bait hadn't been in the water for 5 mins i got a flatty, it seemed promising. Wasn't huge but it was a start. Had a bite again on my second cast but no luck. After that it was dead all evening. Quite disappointed after a good start but at least I caught.

Anyone else fished this mark and what do people think of it?

I've fished it a few times mate at the beginning of the year. I think its a canny mark, not too bad on big tides as well. Not snaggy, had a few fish out but nothing decent size YET. Going to fish it alot during the winter.

Well done mate I gave up using rag until the winter as I was catching nowt, I hate those sessions you get a fish first cast. Your never really sure if it's the last or first of many but 9 times out of 10 it's the first and last lol.

got to agree with kev had fish to 3lb thier in the winter day or night need a good chuck though as it,s quite shallow close in

is it not fenced off now,i went down not long ago but the gates had been put on and the hole in fence all blocked up,i was gutted ha ha i like that spot

As you go there it looks like theres a fence but these a gate thats always open slightly tucked into the trees. was down again yesterday and got a couple small codlin on rag lug
