19lb cod

iv had 2 reports of a 19lb cod taken from tynemouth pier. just wondering if its true. ???

ducky we were at the first gate last nite. and sum fella cumin off the pier mentioned this 19 pounder caught friday nite apparently. he said his mate was there and got pics. so hopefully they mite end up on here

i also heard hes mate had a good bag of fish too so hopefully the guy puts some pics up or atleast alan charlton may have them

Also the guy fishing with him had 4 to 14lb in a 21lb bag apparently. Amazing eh!!

lower Tyne estuary his mate had five for 19lb as well, can't post my photos until they have been in paper, but it is a real monster. Been posted while I was writing this

Its very true. Browny (Stephen on here), was told by his friend as his friend is the one who caught it.

Far as I know though the rumor is definately true though, was a perfect coddies sea to catch it in too, cracking cod that at 19lb, want one like that for the NESA match... .
