headed out this morning hoping to catch few mackerel and cod only caught two cod and two mackerel before wind picked up

where did you fish and how far out?

I am hoping to be out fri, sat and sun but so far its not looking great with strong winds and possible lightning on Sunday...time will tell.

Should be loads of mackerel once you clear the dirty water.

we were only about 1 mile out then to st mary,s headed in when wind picked up

I was out on mountain bike today. Cycled from Roker to S/S along coastal path. Very few boats out if any. Wind quite strong. Saw the boats with Salmon nets near S/S pier.

Hope it improves i want to hammer it before i go away. Half way through the season and it dont feel like i am warmed up yet.
