What modifications, new toys or tackle etc have you done or added to your pride and joy over the winter in readiness for the spring and summer season.
Easyfish ( Rob ) has spent a fortune so he can start this off

I have gone mad and bought a new battery, busy looking for gps plotter fishfinder, radio and maybe a 4 stoke outboard and good weather

I've been taking lessons in photo editing so that I can post pictures of the massive cod without showing the top secret pirk hanging from it's mouth
I've spent a a small fortune over the winter on tackle , mostly "consumables" like lead , rigs and shads , but apart from a top secret ling rig , which is top secret so I can't even acknowledge that it exists I don't have anything to declare

new light rod (tested last sunday) 15lb uglystik ex jester

new reel ( lucky reel ) ex jester tested well yesterday

2 small kettles already discarded (crap)

1 super 1.5ltr push top flask thing ( tested yesterday )

new boat de cals ( stickers ) "quicksilver" yet to be fitted

new hand held VHF so lazy me can crack on without going into cab to use the fixed one

new transducer thingymbob and cable for me HDS5x (awaiting price)

and havent made any real tackle purchases yet...

oh...and a week in cyprus starting next sunday
( to bulid my strength and gin levels up )

Need to stock up the cellar for this season...it was a tradition that lapsed slightly last year. Mind you we were always too tired after the fishing

got a Shakespeare salt xt bass and a abu 5600c4 for an all round summer outfit and in the process made me skint just before valentines day, woops. :red:
gunna use it for spinning and light ledgering (also to take down south for bass) and to use in the winter in the river instead of clunky beachcasters.

It's a new garmin 750s plotter and sounder, Furuno FCV 585 sounder and another garmin plotter as a back up,dsc VHF radio and a new fish shaped pirk mould that arrived today off flee bay, just hope the new boat turns up to get them used!!!

New diawa accudepth braid on saltist and bought some coated wire for the ling this year also getting my gear ready for my jollys in 3 weeks yipeeee

New 1300kg suspension/brakes and hubs/cables, for the wife for valintines day, tried to move boat and trailer, wheels locked solid, couldn't beg steel or borrow a puller that would fit the 5/1/2inch studs
