22/06/11 s/shields pier

fished the round end from 2 till 4 caught 1 dab,6coalies and 3 mackeral tide started to pull to fast so i went to 44 mark had 7 plaice all of size the smallest being 30cms and the biggest was 41cms ,also caught 1 gurnard , 3 dabs ,2 coalies , a pollack and a small codling ,best session for a long while baits used was crab,rag,mackeral and sandeel the bigger fish taking rag tipped with sandeel, kept 3 plaice and 3 mackeral everything else went back ,apart from a couple of coalies which went to a old guy on the end both coalies were over 40cms , just happy to get out now time for scotland and the mull for 3 days of drinking i mean fishing lol

andy i fished untill 8-30 so a long session but best i have ever had the rag and sandeel done best ,the plaice were coughing up little sprats like the mackeral and coalies
