i'm taking my 3 year old daughter fishing for flatties down the middens this after for the first time. this should be fun !

I took my eldest (now 17yrs old) out for the first time at about that age, just down to Blyth harbour... I got nowt... he got a feckin' big flounder, didn't weigh it but damn it was a big bugger!

Well all went well and we had a good day. Soph only managed a crab lol but I got 3 flounder and 3 coalies. Which is pretty good considering I had to make sand castles etc etc.

She never winged to come home but instead winged when we had to leave lol. I was most impressed with her.
