We had a compo this evening down at the Glass centre. Lovely night caught flatties and coalies and a baby size codling.
Only about 8" but its my first shore caught coddy of the season.
49 to go.

Agree its got to be a sizer or that would be easy catching tiddlers, 35cm as already said. Ive had 12 sizers so far this season, biggest 2lb, hopefully more to come.

last year on WSA glenn managed to get 50 by dec 3rd and lobbers done it by dec 15th.....a real good attempt considering the year it was for cod.....i myself got nowhere near that ...a measly 17 but i only fished once a week ...twice on a couple of occasions......
gonna give it my best shot this year...
