on mine they did....when casting there was a screaming noise so i put it in the shop as i thought the bearings were gone but when i went back to collect it he said the magnets had jumped out so he had stuck them back in and now i can only use the magnet thingy control half way.Im not arsed like as i never use the reel anyway but when i come to flog it i will get a bit less for it.
Think i'll just stick to the slosh 20 & 30!!!
 
Aye they do pop out from time to time. My mates done the same so we glued them in but when putting them back they need to be in the right way. You need to put the ends together and put them in the opposite ways. 1 attracting end then a detracting and so on. Its a faff on like but once there glued in you should be ok. There is an articile about them somewhere but i cant remember where, lol. Hope this helps in the mean time and i'll see if i can find the articile for ya.

ah whey,,, iv just glued them back in any old way haha. if its wrong when i try it ill just melt them back out and try the way you said.
 
Aye its not as straight forward as placing them in any old way, lol. we done that 1st with my mates and when he had the mags on full he could'nt reel in, lol. only way he could use the reel was if the mags were fully off!! It's a right feck on getting the mags the right way but defo worth doing right. our lesson has been learnt :rolleyes:
 
sorted... got them out and put them (+ - + -) if thats right, dont think it would make a diffrence if they were (- + - +) anyway i just need to try it out now
 
Aye it dont matter if there +-+- or -+-+ just aslong as there in, in one of those orders and if you've glued them in there should be no more problems for ya. Hope its sorted for ya now and you catch a nice pig :D I would mark them with a sharpie so if they do happen to pop out again, you know where they belong.
 
im gonna get one them big magnets out of a speaker and tape it to the side of me reel that,ll slow the tw@t down if needed so :D
 
haha aye coddy ill just take a subwoofer fishing with me,.. cast out and get my mate to hold it next to the reel. good thinking
