7 Half Pounder S/Shields 9/3/2012

Met me mate down the pier about 3pm wasnt much doing just pass the first gate so headed to the end, mate managed a whiting from the south east corner over high water and another one about a 1lb n half from the left hand side, i fished straight off the front small bites but wasnt much doing until half way through the ebb when i got a good pull down on the rod tip and hooked into something staying deep all the way in me mate handballed it up and weighed a fraction over 7 half pound. Small whiting was all i had after that and called it a night just before slack water.

Baits were cocktails rag, lug, crab and bluey.
