A decent Cod at last

Hello everybody, not had much to shout about so far this season, like most of the rock fishermen. However, my lucks changed a little bit. Got these three fish Friday afternoon.

Then I got this Cod weighing just over 5 lbs at dusk today.

The Bass was 40 cm, the law states a Bass has to be at least 36 cm to be taken. I would of returned the fish, but I don't think it would of survived the 80 foot drop, so I hope this puts all the "bleeding heart liberals" minds at rest.

one of the unfortunate things about clifftop fishing, or in some cases pier fishing, doubtfull if anything would survive the drop if you decide to try to return it

same for me some marks its too much a height and no where to get down lower enough to return fish safe especially if the seas rough its too dangerous to attempt it plus the trama of hooks set deep into the fishes gut it wont survive at all
