well hundreds of hours this season finally payed off. had the day off work today for me and our lass to sort the wedding stuff at the council offices so had a late session to this morning.
the fish come from an inshore mark and surprisingly not the pier, the swells bashed this fish everywhere, time after time off the rocks, had me hung up once and dunno how the hell I managed to get it in:D had some luck I guess

I like the title of the thread as thats exaclty what I plan to do when I land my first double.

Lovely fish...sometimes they are just too big to get in and a bit of luck is needed.

Well done Dean , you, ve put the unsocial hours in , got the big bags and nowa 12 lber. I, am green!,!! I was inyour back garden yesterday pm only 2 tommies .as I was allways told at school I MUST try harder.
 
Well done pal,fish of that stamp are few and far between! One last go at it this weekend for me and I'm hanging my gear up to!
