Abu 6500 green

I have an Abu 6500 mag green, I don't cast as far with this reel as I do with my other multis should I remove some of the magnets and blocks and if so is it easy to do???
Advice would be appreciated on how to do it

If its the mag elite, remove the brake blocks, take the right side(handle side) off. If still too slow clean the bearings out with lighter fluid and add afew drops of yellow rocket fuel.
