alternative baits

theres been quite alot of talk about \'alternative\' baits i.e. peela crab sticks and fish n strips, different people have different oppinions etc...anyway what i was wondering is has anyone tried using carp boilies? come in loads of different fishy flavours like crab and mussel and squid n octopus etc...could be worth a try. quite compact and hard so youd be able to wack it along way etc + they stink when in water...so anyone tried it?

Got to be honest Ralph it\'s not something I have thought about but I would try it. Nothing to lose by it.
