fished amble last night with my mate,(louis268),we arrived about 7pm,couple hours into flood,we set up and first cast i hooked into a 2lb5oz codling,we fished on and things went quiet apart from the odd whiting,a local lad was standing with us,having bit crack on as i caught my cod,that was enough for him to go home and get his gear,he came back with a couple of his mates and fished along side us,they had a small codling between them,we fished on til hi water and a couple hours into ebb but things died off,worth the journey to get that 1 cod though,canny night all n all,lookin forward to these big tides

Its always the case i hate catching 1st chuck coz its always slower later in the session

Good effort at Amble! Some decent fish knocking about for October. Let's hope it stays this way!
