Stayed in my m8s caravan and we had 2 sessions 1 on top left corner of the beach and 1 off top right corner of the rocks. We used rag,mussel,kipper,mackie and lugworm. Beach was not catching but we were getting some good tugs so dropped bait size and had 3 small cod 2 whitey and a 34cm coalie. Went onto other side of bay off the rocks , first cast Graham has rod pulled over but pulls in a 4lb codie while I get a 2lb codie still happy. We had 7 cod in total all keepers but put back all but 2 kept for pan. Kipper and mussel did the trick while rag and Mackie was untouched, had great 24hrs had a bit rain but really enjoyed the break. The penalty was had to get caravan ready for winter but small price for great day out.
