Has anyone fished amble oposite the caravan site there is a small car park next to watch house,outcrop of rock and small beach is it any good?

the rocks are a good shot when there is a sea on in winter.

Hi there,

The mark your on about is known as the white house sands. Ive never fished it in the summer but fish regularly in the winter. Cracking mark at low water and best just as it starts to flood, it fishes best with or just after a decent sea has been running but ive caught plenty even when its been flat calm. In the summer I'd try the rocks a bit further north( just down from a row of houses) this is the salt pans and pan haven gutways, full of kelp and rough as a badgers arse so expect to lose some gear but its your best chance of a cod I reckon!

could`nt agree with you more mate,although i personally would try pan post
