Another 20 lb fish from Blyth pier. ???

Hi jim my neihbour wasfishing blyth pier last night and he says that people were saying there were 2-3 fish caught in the morning and he also say only 1 cod was caught last night which was lost when hand balling it up which was about a 7lber.
 
Lad at work was fishing thursday off blyth pier,he reckons a lad lost a canny fish trying to hand ball it up,says the kid was gutted like.Apart from that he never seen owt else pulled in,think he was only there for a couple of hours though..
 
I always take a drop net with me when i fish from piers ect, you get some smart arse people taking the p**s but its there if i ever need it.I would love it if one of the lads that took the p*ss last tue night had caught a big cod and needed help with it up the pier with my drop net..i would say \"nar\" then 30secs later i would give in and help them up with there fish :)
 
Ling basher i know who you r now i so you on the pier with a black drop net on wednesday you were wearing a red caught i think

Still at least you latched on to a bird, more than I can do when I go out :D
 
Spoke to a reliable source this morning,he\'s heard the rumours but nothing official,don\'t think it was weighed anywhere and no names either.
