Any Mackerel being caught yet?

i was wondering if the mackerel are getting caught yet.........? anyone know whether they are or not ? and where?

Off the boats but not yet on the shores. There's plenty of pipe fish and sandeels about so a little settled weather and it shouldn't be long.

A Whitby skipper told me the got two yesterday which at least means they are on their way. A hartlepool skipper told me they have had none yet.

They will get here ...and lets hope its going to be earlier than last year.
