nor not yet havent been for other part today, just done new back brake pipes, the side lights etc that will be the next job and final

is it the stalk that you twist to put the light on ??



if it is you might have snapped the inside bit that pushes a white switch over ,,you can see the bit that turns the lights on ,it happened to my escort and i fixed mine by putting a small self tapper in the "turning Barrel switch" - it never happened again ,lights were fine

well guys looks like my mate fatlad was right on last saturday saying could be the stalk,went down to breakers yard took one off another escort and cost me £10 for a replacement all one unit ,wipers and indicators and lights , i fitted new one in and it works side lights front and back and fog light ,thanks to everyone who esle mentioned the same fault and other options (the set of daylights didnt work either lmfao)

any other bulbs off in the system? some cars are affected oddly if a certain bulb pops.

check fuses.

check connectors to all the lamps.

start looking for a break in the connections, time consuming if you've not got the kit.
